UniProtKB description: This neurotoxin acts on sodium and calcium channels (PubMed:10196582, PubMed:11896142). It acts on Nav1.2/SCN2A and Nav1.5/SCN5A sodium channels and slows their inactivation (By similarity) (PubMed:11896142). Also binds to Cav3.1/CACNA1G, Cav3.2/CACNA1H and Cav3.3/CACNA1I T-type calcium channels with high affinity and inhibits the channels by modifying voltage-dependent gating (By similarity) (PubMed:10196582).
